Triton Central High School basketball players Quinn King and Eli Sego have been named the Beth Prince State Farm Athletes of the Week.
The pair led their respective teams to Shelby County Tournament titles over the weekend at Waldron High School and were named Most Valuable Players.
King, a junior, finished with 12 points, 10 assists and nine steals Saturday in a 66-19 win over Morristown. On Friday, she had 11 points, seven assists and five steals in a 66-10 victory over Southwestern.
Sego had a game-high 24 points Saturday in a 56-24 win over Morristown. He added seven rebounds and four steals. The senior finished with 19 points, six rebounds and four assists Friday in a 59-41 victory over Waldron.
Sego was named MVP of the tournament for the second consecutive season making him the 10th overall player to accomplish that feat in the last 100 years of the tournament.
