The Lawrenceville baseball Indians scored 5 times in the first inning and set the tone for a 12-2 (5 inning) win over county rival Red Hill Tuesday at Unit 20 Ballpark in Lawrenceville.
The Indians added 4 in the second and 2 in the third and 1 in the fifth enroute to improving to 2-0.
Senior Boston Gray picked up the win on the mound and had 2 hits and 2 RBI
Wyalan Bice had a hit and 4 RBI and Noah Wilson 2 hits and 2 RBI for the Indians.
The Salukis fall to 1-1 with the loss
Dylan Aten, Hunter Ivers and Jaxon Kiser each had hits with Ivers and Brody Wattles each driving in a run.
The Indians are back in action on the road Thursday at Flora while the Salukis are idle till the weekend.
