The Lawrenceville baseball Indians showed signs of rust from inactivity Thursday in a 10-3 loss to the Olney (Richland Co.) Tigers at Unit 20 Ballpark in Lawrenceville.
The Tribe was playing for the first time in almost three weeks due to weather.
The Tigers scored 10 runs on 12 hits and committed four errors while the Indians scored three runs and were held to a single hit while making seven errors.
Maddox Pargin had the Indian's only hit and a RBI. Eli Vennard also had a RBI.
Emery Ivers, the first of four Indian pitchers, took the loss as he went 3 1/3 innings and gave up 7 runs.
The Indians (5-3) will get back to action Monday when they travel to Mt. Carmel.
