Shelbyville High School girls basketball team will kick off the 2025-26 season on Nov. 6 with a “Golden Glory” event.
The event will start at 6 p.m. in William L. Garrett Gymnasium and is open to the public. There is no admission charge.
During the event there will be:
- Team introductions
- 3-point shooting contest
- Trick shot contest
- Intrasquad scrimmages
- 50/50 raffle
- Half-court shot contest
- Giveaways
“The tradition begins here! Come celebrate our team, ignite the season, and be part of the tradition,” said new Shelbyville girls basketball coach Kylie Weichman. “This is a great opportunity for the community to connect with our players and show their support for Shelbyville Girls Basketball.”
