Class 5A, No. 1 New Palestine rushed for more than 300 yards Friday and got touchdowns from the offense, defense and special teams in securing a 65-3 win over Shelbyville on Homecoming at Kelso Stadium in New Palestine.
The Dragons improved to 7-0 (5-0 Hoosier Heritage Conference) while the Golden Bears dropped to 3-4 (1-4 HHC).

Josh Ranes scored on a 37-yard interception return for a touchdown in the third quarter, then added a safety, a Ryder Gardner score from 20 yards out, and Wayne Estes score from 2 yards out to close the scoring.
Shelbyville returns to McKeand Stadium for Senior Night on Oct. 10 against Mt. Vernon (0-7, 0-5 HHC).
