The Lawrenceville-Red Hill Cross-Country Indians traveled to Charleston, Illinois Saturday to compete in the Trojan Classic meet.
Both the boys and girls were unable to field full teams. The top forty runners in each race were awarded medals.
Senior Braydan Morrison led the boys with a 38th place finish out of 168 runners in a time of 17:15. Aiden Crawford finished 45th in a time of 17:29 and Isaiah Fuller finished 121st in a time of 20:10.
For the girls, Finley Herring finished 27th out of 108 competitors in the race with a time of 21:12. Lexi Brooke was 37th in 21:34.
The squad now begins preparations for the post-season. They will run in the Mattoon Regional on Saturday, October 25th.
