The Lawrenceville-Red Hill cross-country Indians were among the 19 teams competing Thursday in the 2025 Cork Classic meet hosted by Robinson High School.
The Indians finished 9th in the team standings with 242 points. The event was won by Toledo (Cumberland) with 63 points followed by Paris with 80, Fairfield with 118, and Mattoon with 148. Braydan Morrison finished in the top 10 for the Tribe in a time of 16:47.92.
Lawrenceville had no team score in the 11 team girls' race. The top finisher for the Lady Indians was Lexi Brooke who was 25th in a time of 21:32.07 over the approximately 3-mile course.
The squad will run again in the multi-team Mattoon Invitational on Wednesday, October 8th.
