The Red Hill baseball Salukis inched closer to .500 with an 8-1 win over Union Dugger (Ind.) Monday at the Tank Farm in Bridgeport.
They tallied 8 runs on only 4 hits and made no errors while the visitors score 1 run on only 3 hits and committed 7 costly errors.
The game was tied at 1 before the Salukis broke it open with 2 in the 4th inning and 3 in the 5th enroute to the victory.
Marcus Davis had 2 hits and RBI and Carter Davis had a hit and 3 RBI for Red Hill.
Keegan Liston went 5 2/3 innings on the mound for the win.
The Salukis are now 6-7 on the season with a game at home Tuesday against Oblong.
