A fast start Saturday night propelled Waldron 8-man football to a 44-28 victory at Dugger Union.
The Mohawks led 22-0 after one quarter and 38-22 at halftime.
Troy Atwood and Hunter Dodson combined for 174 yards rushing and four touchdowns. Dodson also completed 12 passes for 173 yards and two more touchdowns.
Tad Crosby had six receptions for 63 yards. Atwood had five for 110 yards.
The Mohawks improved to 3-0 this season to stay atop the high school 8-man football standings. The loss was the first this season for Dugger Union (2-1).
The only other unbeaten team is Tri-State Homeschool (3-0).
Morristown earned its first-ever win Saturday, 45-28 over Rock Creek Academy. Morristown is 1-1.
Rock Creek (0-3) hosts Morristown on Saturday.
Indiana Deaf is 0-2.
Waldron will travel to South Decatur to face its junior varsity team on Monday.
