Shelbyville golf’s first dual match win of the season is inevitable. Until then, the Golden Bears’ foursome continue to play well individually.
On Wednesday at Blue Bear Golf Club in Shelbyville, Pendleton Heights defeated the Golden Bears 198-203 despite all four SHS golfers posting personal-best rounds.
Shelbyville’s Emmie Higgins (photo) tied her career best with a round of 45 and shared the medalist honor with Pendleton Heights’ Zoe Lawrence.
Following Higgins on the Shelbyville scorecard were Riley Everette (47), Kylie Stader (49) and Maddy Jones (62).
