The Lawrenceville basketball Indians continue to roll right along toward the end of the regular season.
They ran their winning streak to three with a 48-41 come-from-behind win Friday night at home over Casey-Westfield in Little Illini Conference (LIC) play and a 54-44 victory over non-conference foe Altamont Saturday afternoon also at home.
The 26-2 Indians were led by Noah Wilson with 16 points, Jayden Goff with 14, and Zander Cessna with 12 in the Casey game while Goff had 20, Cessna 13, and Wilson 12 in the Altamont win.
The Tribe enters the final week of the regular season this week with the final home game Tuesday with Carmi-White County. It will be Senior Night. They then wrap up conference play with a road trip to Paris on Friday before regional action next week.
