Thomas Earl Higdon, 90, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
Born June 19, 1936 in Clarkson, Kentucky, he was the son of Archie and Edna Mae (Simms) Higdon.
Survivors include 4 children- Beverly McQueary (Chris Woods), Rick Higdon (Cindy), Jay Higdon (Kimberly), all of Shelbyville, Candy Higdon of Clarkson, KY.; a brother Ronnie Higdon (Marsha) of Bedford, Indiana; several grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Tom Higdon, and several brothers and sisters.
Earl retired after many years at Ford Motor Company in Indianapolis, and had also worked for several years at KCL in Shelbyville.
For many years his passion was riding his mules. He enjoyed riding trails and camping with friends and family.
A Celebration of Life will held at a later date.
