Terry Lee Hoh, age 81 of St. Francisville, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family and loved ones.
Terry Lee Hoh, age 81 of St. Francisville, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was born October 13, 1944, at the Hoh family home in rural St. Francisville to Ernest and Marjorie (Catt) Hoh.
On July 26, 1964, Terry married the love of his life, Carolyn Lynn, at the Christian Church in St. Francisville. For more than 61 years, they raised their family and enjoyed their lives together.
He worked as a union Ironworker for 50 years until his retirement. Terry was a hard worker and was always doing something. He spent a lot of his time cruising town in his Gator, liked being outside, boating, fishing, going dancing with Carolyn, and truly loved his family. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 947 and attended the Christian Church of St. Francisville.
Those honored to carry on Terry’s memory and life legacy include: his wife- Carolyn Hoh of St. Francisville, IL; two children- Ernie Hoh and wife Marty of Newburgh, IN and Terri Lynn Wease and Brad Flanders of St. Francisville, IL; three brothers- Larry Hoh of Corydon, IN, Bob Hoh and wife Carolyn J. of St. Francisville, IL, and Johnny Hoh and wife Sheila of Columbus, OH; five grandchildren- Ryan Black, Alex Earnest and husband Curtis, Sydney Winkles and husband Dustin, Jaylyn Wease, and Marcus Hoh; one sister-in-law- Dorothy LeGrand of St. Francisville, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Marjorie Hoh.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Oaklawn Cemetery of St. Francisville. There will be a viewing at the cemetery from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Cunningham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
