Ronald B. "Ron" Bowman, 68, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, January 26, 2026 at his residence.
Born May 22, 1957 in Fairland, he was the son of Charles and Lucille (Wells) Bowman.
Survivors include a son Chad Bowman (Cassidy Frazier) of Shelbyville; a daughter Kerri Bowman of Greensburg; partner Charlene Stiers of Shelbyville; stepchildren- Wayne Stiers, Susan Stiers, Chris Stiers, Donna Stiers, Lori Stiers (Brenden Alexander), Angel Brenkman; brother Bobby Bowman of Rushville; sister Peggy Benandi (Ron) of Alabama; and 4 grandchildren- Addison Bowman, Jaxon Bowman, Kaylynn Sibert, and Keaven Spear.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Mr. Bowman was a lifelong resident of this area and retired from Knauf Fiber Glass after 35 years of service. He also drove cars for Hubler Chevrolet and Ford for several years.
Ron enjoyed hunting, and fishing, exploring, and taking road trips.
Funeral services will be 7:00 pm of Friday, January 30, 2026 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road.
Friends may call on Friday evening from 5:00 pm until the time of the service, at the funeral home.
