Roger N. McKinney, 79, a lifelong Marshall County resident passed away unexpectedly on Saturday June 20, 2026, at St. Joseph Health System-Plymouth Campus.
Roger was born on February 5, 1947, in Plymouth and married his high school sweetheart, Judy Roahrig on June 12, 1965, sharing 61 years of marriage. Roger graduated from Plymouth High School and obtained a mechanical engineering degree from Tri State College.
Beyond his dedication to farming for more than 30 years, he found great joy in coaching, hunting, and golfing. He especially enjoyed watching and supporting his grandchildren as they competed in the sports they loved.
Roger is survived by his wife, Judy, his daughters Michelle (Wayne) Baumhover and Jennifer Jones, and his son, Roger McKinney Jr. Also surviving are his grandchildren; Nick and Jack Baumhover, Cole and Chloe McKinney, and Jeremy Jones along with his brother, Michael McKinney.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Edietha McKinney Jr. and his in-laws Olen and Lovette Roahrig.
The family will be holding a private ceremony at a later date.
