Robert “Robbie” Allen Volkman III, age 50, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026, at his residence. He was born May 10, 1975, in Olney, Illinois, the son of Robert Volkman II and Joan Henshilwood Volkman.
Robbie worked in the food industry, where he was known for his cooking at the Towne House. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting, and took pride in his collections, including wolves and pocket knives. Robbie loved hosting cookouts with his family and was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, never missing a chance to cheer on both the team and its cheerleaders. Robbie will be remembered for his strong personality, warm presence, and love for time spent with those closest to him.
Preceding Robbie in death were his parents.
Surviving siblings include Tonya (Jimmy Wells) Volkman of Lawrenceville, Danny (Rudi) Volkman of Texas; nieces and nephews, Johnny Wells, Kelsey Wells, Daniel Volkman, Austin Volkman, Coltyn Volkman, Madysson Rubio, and Noah Volkman, along with several great-nieces and great-nephews.
