Kermit Ray McKean, age 82 of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
Kermit Ray McKean, age 82 of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. He was born in Green County, Indiana on July 18, 1943, to Paul and Alice (Hash) McKean.
He was married to Nancy Ann (Haines) McKean, and she preceded him in death.
Kermit was involved in the French Club in Bicknell, IN and had worked for the Sullivan County, Indiana Highway Department for many years until he retired. He loved fishing and being outside tinkering.
Those left to carry on Kermit’s legacy are his daughter- Kimberly Evans; step-daughter- Angel Rogers; and one brother- Kenneth McKean.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Alice McKean.
