James David Littlejohn, age 65, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025, at his residence. He was born December 27, 1959 in Robinson, Illinois, the son of Thomas L. Littlejohn and Dora Spencer Littlejohn.
James worked for Bob Morgan Company in Paris, Illinois. He enjoyed auto mechanics, buying and selling cars, fishing, and riding motorcycles. James loved his sons and grandchildren.
Preceding James in death were his parents; sons, David Littlejohn and Jay Littlejohn; brother, Tom Littlejohn; six sisters, Laura York, Virginia Budd, Dora Hutchinson, Cora Richardson, Marjorie McKendree, and Georgia Cessna.
Survivors include: three brothers, Ted (Karen) Littlejohn of Paris, Illinois, Don (Carolyn) Littlejohn of Paris, Illinois, Sam (Rosetta) Littlejohn of Princeton, Indiana; three sisters, Polly (Ron) Shaw of Lawrenceville, Doris Fitch of Palestine, Katie Smirnes of Lawrenceville; two grandchildren: Jason Littlejohn and James Littlejohn of Granite City, Illinois; step-children, Brandy Kite, Dawn Kite, Stacey Kite; and several step-grandchildren.
No formal services will be held.
