Brenda Sue Mushrush, age 74, of Sumner, Illinois, passed away Monday, October 13, 2025, at her residence.
Brenda Sue Mushrush, age 74, of Sumner, Illinois, passed away Monday, October 13, 2025, at her residence. She was born March 19, 1951, in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the daughter of Cecil “Bud” Judy and Mildred Salesman Judy. She married Caroll Mushrush on May 21, 1971, and he survives.
Brenda was a devoted farmwife and a strong, hardworking woman who loved to stay busy. She enjoyed cooking, doing crafts, painting, crocheting, traveling, and camping. Brenda especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren. She served as a 4-H leader for many years, was active in the PTO, and found great joy in tending her flower garden.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Caroll; three daughters, Amy (Todd) Belding of Cypress, Texas, Tammy (Glenn) Berger of Bloomington, Indiana, and Kari (Cody) Wagner of Bloomington, Indiana; one brother, Charles “Chuck” (Dawn) Judy of rural Lawrenceville; and seven grandchildren, Ezri Belding, Taylin Belding, Caleb Berger, Bryce Berger, Jessica Berger, Sabrah Wagner, and Delainey Wagner.
No formal services will be conducted. Memorial donations may be made to Lawrence County Humane Society or the Vincennes Pet Port.
