Bob “BL” Waggoner, age 84, of Robinson, Illinois, passed away on October 24, 2025 at Robinson Rehab and Nursing, Robinson, Illinois.
Bob “BL” Waggoner, age 84, of Robinson, Illinois, passed away on October 24, 2025 at Robinson Rehab and Nursing, Robinson, Illinois. He was born on September 19, 1941, the son of Willard Waggoner and Dorothy Lucille Miles Waggoner.
Bobby was the owner and operator of Wagway Tool in Lawrenceville. Before owning Wagway Tool, Bobby played Triple AAA baseball for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He enjoyed playing golf and fishing. Some of his fondest memories made were on his fishing trips with friends and family and his travels to Alaska.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his son, Kevin Waggoner; his brothers Bill Waggoner, Jim Waggoner, Dick Waggoner, and Dee Waggoner; his sister, Tonya Stringfellow.
Survivors include his son, Craig Waggoner of Lawrenceville, IL; his granddaughter, Macey (Franklin) Lenihan of St. Francisville, Illinois; his grandson, Luke (Madison) Waggoner of St. Francisville, Illinois; three great-grandsons, Benjamin Lenihan, Jacob Lenihan, and Beau Waggoner; his brother, Jerry (Marjorie) Waggoner of Robinson, Illinois; his sister, Connie (Jeff) Anspaugh of Michigan.
No formal services will be conducted.
