A part of 6th Street in Vincennes is scheduled to be closed for the remainder of the week beginning Tuesday, May 12th to allow for paving work to be done.
City officials say that 6th Street will be closed from Willow Street to the city limits just past the Perdue Road for the project. The work is anticipated to last through Friday, May 15th, depending on weather conditions.
Driver are being encouraged to use caution when traveling in that area and seek alternate routes when possible while the road is closed.
The project is part of the city of Vincennes' CCMG paving program for 2026.
