The report of a firearm being pulled on a male at the BP Gas Station at the corner of Michigan and Jefferson Streets in Plymouth, Sunday at 5 p.m., sent police to the scene.
Plymouth Police were dispatched to the BP gas station for two males who pulled a firearm on another. While officers were in route, the Marshall County Central Dispatch Center advised that the vehicle was driving north on Plum Street.
City officers located the vehicle on First Street and initiated a traffic stop. The two occupants were ordered out at gunpoint and detained. While searching the vehicle, the firearm was located in plain view, as well as narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

Miguel Hernandez, age 32, of the 400 block of Charles Street and 33-year-old Pablo Gonzalez Candelaia of the 1,110 block of Fairbanks Avenue in Plymouth, were taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail. They were booked for dealing cocaine as a level 2 felony, possession of cocaine and possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon both as level 4 felonies, intimidation with a deadly weapon as a level 5 felony, possession of a schedule III-controlled substance as a level 6 felony, battery as a class A misdemeanor, and possession of paraphernalia as a class C misdemeanor. Each has a $50,000 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
