Grant applications for the 2026 Maxine E. Spitler Foundation awards are now being accepted through the end of May.
The foundation benefits youth and youth organizations and the protection and care of animals in both Lawrence and Jasper Counties in southeastern Illinois.
Application forms are available through the Weber and Company, Inc. law office at 604 West Jourdan Street in Newton, Illinois by mail at P.O. Box 305 Newton or by calling (618) 783-3447 during business hours.
The deadline for submission is the end of the day Friday, May 29th. The grant awards winners will be announced at a later date.
