Law enforcement authorities in the area remain on the alert and lookout for a fugitive southwestern Indiana man. The Gibson County Indiana Sheriffs Department reported that Friday August 9th at 3:15 p.m.CT, 33 year old Joshua Whitehead of Patoka Indiana cut off his GPS ankle monitor while on work release from the Gibson County Community Corrections Center. His discarded ankle monitor was later located on the west side of the Brumfield Overpass in Princeton. The public is warned to be alert of Whitehead and to not confront or approach him. Anyone with information as to his location is asked to contact their nearest law enforcement authority.
