The Shelbyville Police Department has arrested three individuals in connection with a residential burglary that occurred earlier this month.
On January 17, four suspects unlawfully entered a residence on West Washington Street. The homeowners returned to find their residence ransacked and immediately contacted law enforcement. Security camera footage captured four suspects forcing entry into the home at approximately 4:45 p.m. and leaving with multiple stolen items.
Following a thorough investigation, detectives identified multiple suspects and obtained search warrants for residences in the Indianapolis area. Those search warrants were executed successfully, leading to the recovery of many of the stolen items.
As a result, arrest warrants were issued for the following individuals:
- Daryon Zarquarius Davonte Garrett
- Zi Quila Hobson
- Derell Nadarrian Wright
All three suspects were taken into custody on Burglary charges (Level 2 Felony) and are currently being held in the Shelby County Jail.
This investigation remains ongoing, and additional arrests or charges may follow. The Shelbyville Police Department commends the diligent efforts of our detectives in identifying and apprehending these individuals.
