Santa Claus is coming to town, and you can join the parade in honor of his return to downtown Shelbyville.
The Mistletoe Market and Holiday Parade are Dec. 5 in Shelbyville.
The Mistletoe Market, hosted by Mainstreet Shelbyville Inc. starts at 5 p.m. on the Public Square. Events include carriage rides and local vendors.
The city’s annual holiday parade follows at 7 p.m. and ends with Santa “officially” turning on the downtown holiday lights.
Parade participant registration is now open, and volunteers are needed to bring the event to life.
