The Indiana Department of Transportation announces an ongoing road closure that is impacting U.S. 36 (Pat Rady Way) in Bainbridge.
Beginning the morning of September 29, CSX Transportation crews closed U.S. 36 in Bainbridge near the town hall to replace the rails in the area. Work is anticipated to last around a week but is weather-dependent and subject to change.
The official detour around the closure is State Road 75 to S.R. 240 to U.S. 231. INDOT encourages drivers to seek an alternate route and to use caution while crews repair the railway.
