Join Purdue Extension of Marshall County at the Marshall County Council on Aging for a “Preserve it Now… Enjoy it Later!” This will be a lunch and learn workshop.
This workshop will discuss the basics of food preservation and food safety. The workshop will be offered on August 15, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Life Enrichment Center 1305 West Harrison Street in Plymouth. To register please call the Life Enrichment Center at 574-936-9904.
Purdue Extension offers more in-depth food preservation workshops throughout the year. These include half-day or full-day workshops that cover boiling water bath canning or pressure canning. Intensive “Mastering Home Food Preservation” multi-day workshops are also available during the year.
