On Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026 at 7:09 PM, Marshall County
Deputy's were dispatched to Tippecanoe in the area of Blackford Dr to locate an intoxicated man wearing a white hoodie back-wards and pajama pants trying to climb through a window of a vehicle.
Deputy's arrived in the area and located a man matching the description walking North on SR 331 at the intersection of 17B Trl.
Upon further investigation, John L. Kern, 24, was placed into custody for Public Intoxication by alcohol. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and was given a cash bond and a court date.
