On Sunday, May 12th, at about 9:30 in the evening, Marshall County Deputies were dispatched to the 3000 block of Michigan Road in LaPaz for a motorcycle versus deer accident with injury.
The driver of the motorcycle was identified as 47-year-old William R. Neiswender of Plymouth. He had hit a deer causing him to crash.
The county police report states that Neiswender potentially had a broken leg, shoulder pain, various cuts, and bruises along with road rash. He was airlifted from the scene to Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
Agencies assisting the Marshall County Sheriff's Department were LaPaz Fire and EMS and Tri-County Medics.
