A Plymouth man was arrested in the early morning hours of Saturday, June 27th, after a Marshall County Sheriff's dispatcher received reports of a dangerous driver on the road.
At approximately 2:40 a.m., Marshall County Central Dispatch was alerted to a white SUV that had nearly rear-ended another vehicle, with one of the vehicle's tires visibly smoking. Plymouth Police located and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in the area of State Road 17 and Pretty Lake.
The driver, identified as 23-year-old Nicholas Lamar De-Palma II of Plymouth, was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he was booked on charges of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Possession of Marijuana by Deputy Prater. His cash bond was set at $1,500.
The arrest involved the Marshall County Sheriff's Office and the Plymouth Police Department.
