The Lyford Vol Fire Dept was dispatched Sunday afternoon to the 8000 block of South Lafayette Street for a reported structure fire.
Upon arrival just before 2 p.m.,the fire was a marked as a working incident and mutual aid from Rosedale Volunteer Fire Department Clinton City Fire Department and Mecca - Wabash Twp Volunteer Fire Dept fire department was requested.
At 2:12p.m., the fire was marked under control. Extensive overhaul was done.
The fire was determined to be accidental. No word was given for the exact cause. Red Cross was contacted for the displaced residents. All units complete at 3:30p.m.
