The following people were recently booked at the Fulton County Jail:
• Valerie K. Ramsey, 42, Peru, was arrested Friday on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of a Schedule 1 controlled substance. She was taken into custody by city police at Rochester City Park and held on a $2,500 surety or $500 cash bond. Her arrest followed a report about a Dodge truck being driven recklessly around the park with a female driver, male passenger and two or three females in the truck bed.

• Daniel T. Smith Jr., 51, Washington, Pa., was arrested Saturday on preliminary charges of possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug and possession of paraphernalia. He was taken into custody by city police at Kroger, 2040 Peace Tree Village, and held on a $2,500 surety or $500 cash bond. He was reportedly found unresponsive in a car and later advised that he had used heroin.

• Mikhail Lee Devon McDonough, 25, 7494 W. 500 North, Rochester, was arrested Saturday on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on an original charge of resisting law enforcement. He was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies at State Road 110 and 331 and held without bond.

• Barry D. Rogers, 57, Michigan City, was arrested Saturday on a preliminary charge of driving after having been judged a habitual traffic violator. He was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies at U.S. 31 and County Road 50 East and held on a $2,500 surety or $500 cash bond.

• Tyra J. Scott, 30, Indianapolis, was arrested Sunday on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in court on an original charge of possession of marijuana. She was taken into custody at the jail and held on a $300 cash bond.

• Taylor J. Nelson, 26, Mishawaka, was arrested Sunday on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in court on an original charge of possession of marijuana. She was picked up at the Elkhart County Jail and held on a $150 cash bond.
