The Heartland Art Center proudly announces its 38th Annual Juried Regional Art Exhibition, on view through October 30 at the Plymouth Historic Fire Station, 220 N. Center Street. This year's exhibition features 101 works by 62 artists, representing an impressive range of talent from across northern Indiana and beyond.
The exhibition will culminate in a Closing Reception on Friday, October 30, from 6 to 8 PM, with awards presented at 7 PM. Guests will enjoy refreshments and the opportunity to meet the artists and view the works before they return home. The event is free and open to the public.
"Our fall exhibit is a chance for artists to share what they've been working on and receive some well-deserved recognition," said Maggie Kubley, Chair of the Juried Regional Art Exhibition. "It's a great reminder that our community, and the region as a whole, is packed with incredible talent. I'm deeply impressed by every artist, new and returning, who's part of this year's show, and proud of all the hard work done by Heartland's members to make this show happen."
The Heartland Art Center thanks the sponsors and donors who make the exhibition possible: Art Matters, Greg Hildebrand, Montgomery Well Drilling, Gary and Jeannie Treat, Bin There Dump That, and Dr. Rod and Nancy Kubley.
Heartland also acknowledges the many dedicated volunteers who make this annual exhibition possible. As an all-volunteer organization, the Juried Regional relies on countless hours of behind-the-scenes work from artists and community members. Their commitment and energy keep the exhibition growing year after year.
