A 51 year old Greencastle man has found himself on the wrong side of the law, accused of sexually molesting a seven year old female.
Willie Hugh Spears, II, 51, Greencastle, was recently arrested on a warrant and is facing a Level 1 felony charge of child molesting where the defendant is at least 21 years old and the victim is under the age of 14. In addition, there is a no contact order in place between Spears and the victim.
Court documents state the victim shared on a school bus last March that she had an adult boyfriend who kissed her and rubbed up against her. She told the bus driver the adult boyfriend was Spears, who is a neighbor. In addition, the victim and Spears had engaged in sexual activity at a residence on Gillespie Street, which was rented by Spears. A probable cause affidavit states Spears not only had sex with the victim, he also urinated on her and her belongings.
Spears is slated to appear back in court in December for a pretrial conference.
