The Food Bank of Northern Indiana will host an additional mobile food distribution in Marshall County the day after Christmas to help families during the holiday season.
The bonus distribution is scheduled for Friday, December 26, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Webster Elementary School, located at 1101 South Michigan Street in Plymouth.
The event, sponsored by Chick-fil-A, will serve up to 250 households on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Assorted food items will be offered free of charge to those in need of food assistance.
The distribution will operate as a drive-through event. Participants are asked to remain in their vehicles and open their trunks to receive pre-boxed and pre-bagged food items. An area will be available for self-loading for vehicles without accessible trunks.
Each household is limited to one box or bag of food items.
