Deputies with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated two accidents this past weekend.
On Friday at approximately 3:30 in the afternoon, the Sheriff's Department, Polk Fire, and Walkerton Police and EMS responded to a two-vehicle personal injury accident on U.S. 6 near Tamarack Road.
The crash involved a 2022 Chevrolet Traverse driven by 44-year-old Amanda Bradfield, while the second vehicle was a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox driven by 56-year-old Jaqueline Hart.
Emergency units arrived and discovered that no one had been injured in the crash. The eastbound lanes of U.S. 6 were temporarily shut down due to debris.
Walkerton Police, Walkerton EMS, and Polk Township Fire assisted the Marshall County Sheriff's Department.
On Sunday at approximately 10:30 in the morning, Marshall County Deputies, Walkerton Police, Polk Fire, and Walkerton EMS responded to a report of a personal injury accident involving a single motorcycle on Plymouth LaPorte Trail near 3B Road.
Dwayne Perez, 39, of Walkerton, was transported to the hospital for injuries sustained in the accident. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor in this accident.
Walkerton Police, Polk Fire, and Walkerton EMS assisted the Marshall County Sheriff's Department.
