Centra Credit Union and the Centra Foundation announce a donation totaling $100,000 to local food banks across the Communities they serve.
This initiative is part of Centra’s ongoing commitment to supporting those in need and directly addresses the growing issue of food insecurity, especially as the holiday season approaches.
This donation comes at a critical time. With uncertainty surrounding SNAP food benefits, many individuals and families may face disruptions in receiving essential support over the coming months. As a result, local food banks are likely to experience increased demand from their communities.
