Centier Bank, Indiana’s largest private, family-owned and operated bank, is announcing plans for two new locations in Johnson County set to open in early spring.
One is a new Greenwood location at 800 US 31 S, and a new Franklin branch located within the Franklin Meijer at 2390 N. Morton Street. This expansion underscores Centier’s growing commitment to investing in and serving Johnson County and the Greater Indianapolis region with hospitality-driven, community-focused banking.
“We’re thrilled to grow our footprint south of the Greater Indianapolis area and bring Centier’s legendary service to two convenient locations in Greenwood and Franklin,” said Troy Kafka, Senior Vice President and Greater Indianapolis Market President for Centier Bank. “We’re looking forward to opening our doors to clients to show them our hospitality-driven approach to banking to help them on their way to financial success.”
The new Greenwood location will be Centier’s 62nd branch, serving residents in Greenwood and the south side of Indianapolis. The branch builds upon Centier’s existing Greenwood presence, the Mortgage Center at 640 South US 31 Suite F.
The new Franklin branch will mark Centier’s 63rd location in its Indiana footprint and will serve as the company’s southernmost branch to date, following closely on the heels of the new Greenwood location. This expansion further enhances Centier’s ability to serve beyond the south side of Indianapolis and specifically Meijer associates and shoppers. With two locations now in Johnson County, Centier is reinforcing its role as a trusted, community-focused financial partner.
As a privately-owned and operated family bank celebrating 130 years of service, Centier remains focused on building strong community connections and helping clients across Indiana reach financial goals with service that is local, personal, and trusted. The Greenwood and Franklin locations are part of Centier’s larger growth strategy in Greater Indianapolis, marking their tenth and eleventh locations in the region, with plans for additional branches in 2026 and 2027.
“We are extremely excited to be welcomed into Franklin and expanding our presence in Greenwood to demonstrate Centier’s hospitality while serving these communities,” said Chris Campbell, President of Centier Bank. “Centier has additional plans to continue our expansion throughout the state and within this region, with additional branches opening in the near future.”
