The Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single-vehicle fatality crash that occurred in early Monday morning.
The crash near the 7500 Block South of County Road 550 West, north of Stilesville, resulted in the death of a Cascade High School senior.
Just before 4:30 a.m., Hendricks County deputies were dispatched to the area on the report of a single-vehicle crash into a utility pole. Preliminary investigation indicates a Ford Taurus, driven by Cyle Sullivan, 18, of Danville, was traveling northbound on County Road 550 West, when it went off the roadway at a slight curve. The vehicle struck a utility pole causing it to roll.
Sullivan was transported to IU Methodist Hospital and later died from his injuries. There were no passengers in the vehicle.
Sullivan was set to graduate from Cascade High School on Friday.
