The city of Bridgeport has informed GIANT-FM News of a public hearing scheduled for next month.
The tentative Annual Appropriation Ordinance for fiscal year 2025-26 which covers city spending is currently on file and available for public inspection starting Thursday, May 1, at City Hall, 235 Washington Street in Bridgeport.
It can be reviewed during regular business hours.
A hearing has been set for 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, for public comment prior to the May city council session.
It is anticipated that the council will take final action on the ordinance that evening.
