Jail Bookings
The following person was recently booked at the Fulton County Jail:
• Lynden E. Swanson III, 49, 770 Maplewood Lane, Rochester, was arrested Friday on a preliminary charge of possession of stolen property. He was taken into custody by city police after being apprehended at Walmart, 2395 Main St., and held on a $2,500 surety or $500 cash bond.

Police Incidents
Unwanted guest
• At 10:17 p.m. Friday, police received a report that a man was at a Kewanna residence in the 200 block of West Main Street in violation of a protective order. The man left after gathering belongings and being read the order.
Suspicious
• At 12:17 a.m. Saturday, police responded to a report of someone yelling behind Rochester Motel, 2147 Southway 31. That individual was reportedly unable to be located.
Property damage
• Daniel Betcher, 61, of Rochester, was identified as the driver of a vehicle that caused property damage along West Ninth Street around 8:30 a.m. Friday. The vehicle was later found with significant damage parked on a curb in the 800 block of Main Street.
• Shortly before 9 a.m. Saturday, police received a report about a truck struck and trash in a field at 3200 S. 500 East, Rochester. It was additionally reported that the driver was doing donuts.
Road debris
• At 2:46 p.m. Saturday, police received a report that a truck lost some of its load at Indiana 14 and County Road 800 East in Akron. Police records indicate that it appeared someone was moving furniture and lost it. The owners were located and were to remove the rest from the side of the road.
Fight
• Shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday, police received a report that an altercation occurred after someone attempted to serve an eviction notice at a residence in the 400 block of Ohio Street. It was alleged that the landlord picked up a man by the throat when he had gone to the landlord's home. That visit reportedly followed an incident of someone "pounding on the door" of the home. Police records indicate that there were no marks left behind from the alleged physical altercation.
Wreck
• Vehicles driven by Joni Elliot, 59, and Daniel Semon, 52, both of Silver Lake, collided around 9 p.m. Saturday at Good To Go, 201 W. Rochester St., Akron. Police records indicate that neither vehicle was damaged.
Harassment
• At 6:41 a.m. Monday, police received a report about harassing texts allegedly coming from a former employee of Mustangs to Fear, 2123 Southway 31. Extra patrol was to be provided as a result.
