The Town of Argos announces the launch of a new mobile app designed to provide residents with convenient access to important information, services, events, and community updates right at their fingertips.
Mark VanDerWeele, Argos's Development Director, states, "We are excited about the Discover Argos app as a valuable tool to connect with the community and make it easier for everyone to stay informed and engaged with what's happening."
The Discover Argos app includes features like an event calendar, real-time notifications on important announcements, a town directory, online bill pay, employment opportunities, and more.
VanDerWeele adds, “One neat feature is the ability to create an account, which allows the user to select the type of notification(s) they receive. For instance, those living in town might want to receive notifications on street repair or trash pickup, while those who live outside of the area and attend our events might want to only receive alerts on upcoming events.”
Users can still access information on the town website and social media channels, and the Discover Argos app is just another resource for the community to stay engaged.
Anyone can search “Discover Argos” to download the app, which is free to download and use.
