Ameren Illinois has announced that it will have work crews in Lawrence County to trim trees and other vegetation over the next several days and weeks.
They will be working to help clear company owned electric lines that run from pole to pole and elsewhere. This will help minimize the likelihood of power outages and safety hazards to local residents. Maps have been provided to the mayors and county board chairpersons of the local areas to be affected by the work.
Ameren is performing the necessary work without customer charge.
