Shelbyville High School's Jessica Price and Triton Central High School's Zoie Gray and Aubrie Propp have been named the Beth Prince State Farm Athletes of the Week.
The three county wrestlers advanced past the IHSAA’s inaugural round of girls sectional tournaments Friday.
At the West Washington Sectional, Price (photo, far right) finished fourth at 105 pounds to advance to the regional. She won her first match before losing to eventual sectional champion Kaitlynn Fouty of Whiteland.
Price, 16-7 this season, will compete in the Mooresville Regional Friday which begins at 11 a.m. She will take on Floyd Central’s Scarlett Rudnick (16-4) in her opening match.
Gray finished third at 190 pounds (Perry Meridian Sectional) to qualify for the regional. She lost her opening match then won three straight to secure her advancement.
At 105 pounds, Propp went 2-2 in her bracket and finished fourth.

Gray and Propp will compete at the Alexandria Monroe Regional Friday at 9 a.m.
Propp, 15-6 this season, opens the regional against Lawrence North’s Azariah Dembry (10-11).
Gray (12-4) faces Lawrence North’s Ace Grayson (17-6) in her first match in the bracket.
