The Indiana High School Athletic Association announced the pairings Sunday for the 2026 Softball State Tournament which will conclude June 12-13 at Bittinger Stadium on the campus of Purdue University.
Sectional tournaments run from May 25-30.
Regional champions are determined on June 2.
Semistate champions are crowned on June 6.

Class 3A, Sectional 28
There are two state-ranked teams at the Indian Creek Sectional and they are both in the bottom half of the bracket.
Shelbyville (9-9) drew the bye and will await the winner of Rushville (4-10) and Greenwood (13-2). The Golden Bears lost at Greenwood, 10-5, on April 20. Rushville is not on the Shelbyville schedule.
In the bottom half of the bracket, No. 5 New Palestine (10-4) opens against the host Braves (14-5).
No. 4 Roncalli (12-2) takes on Beech Grove (5-15) in the final sectional quarterfinal round game.

Class 2A, Sectional 43
Christel House (6-6) and Indianapolis Scecina (2-8) earned quarterfinal round byes in the six-team Class 2A sectional hosted by Heritage Christian.
The first quarterfinal round game features the host Eagles (5-9) and Eastern Hancock (9-4). The winner meets Christel House in the first semifinal round game.
Triton Central (8-5) opens against Irvington Prep (3-7), a team it defeated 24-1 on April 23. The winner battles Scecina in the semifinal round.


Class A, Sectional 59
Waldron (5-5) earned the bye into the semifinal round of the Tri Sectional where the Mohawks will face either Morristown (5-6) or North Decatur (9-6).
In the bottom half of the bracket, Tri (6-5) takes on Edinburgh (12-5). The final quarterfinal game has South Decatur (9-3) opening against Knightstown (7-5).
