Waldron’s Jacob Kuhn finished 11th overall Thursday in the South Ripley Great Pumpkin Invitational cross country race in Versailles, Indiana.
Kuhn crossed the finish line in 17 minutes, 23 seconds.
Hauser’s Jace Wright finished first in 15:59.
Also running for Waldron were Spencer Armstrong (22nd in 18:38), Matt Campbell (74th in 28:29) and Parker Allen (76th in 30:59).
The Mohawks did not have the minimum five runners to complete a team score.
Lawrenceburg captured the team title with 54 points. Hauser was runner-up at 66, one point ahead of Shawe Memorial.
Switzerland County’s Claire Boggs (20:58) and Kaylynn Schaefer (21:20) finished first and second, respectively, to win the girls race and lead their team to the team title with 24 points.
North Decatur was runner-up at 39.
Competing for Waldron were Sophia Meriwether (19th in 25:09) and Kassidy Meulen (33rd in 31:48).

Morristown 3, Jac-Cen-Del 0
At Morristown, Logan Schultz had a pair of goals and Weston Cole scored to lead the Yellow Jackets to a shutout victory over the Eagles (0-10-2).
Landen Rinzel had 15 saves in goal for Morristown (5-6-2).
New Palestine 5, Shelbyville 0
At New Palestine, the Dragons scored twice in the final 10 minutes of the first half and added a penalty kick goal early in the second half to pull away from the Golden Bears (5-8-1).
New Palestine improved to 6-8.
Boys tennis
Shelbyville 3, Greensburg 2
The Golden Bears swept the doubles matches and added a straight-set win from Bram Kolkmeier to defeat the Pirates.
Kolkmeier defeated Will Weber, 6-4, 6-4.
At No. 1 doubles, Jack Van Wye and Cooper Reed defeated Logan Fisse and Luke Schwering, 7-6, 6-3.
And Owen Shively and Grant Tackett bested Jaxson Phillips and Max Buening at No. 2 doubles, 6-0, 6-2.
Waldron 4, Indian Creek
At Waldron, the Mohawks altered the lineup in their final home match of the season and still defeated the Braves.
Caige Sheaffer, Noah Leap and Kevin Crouch were victorious in singles matches. All three won in straight sets.
At No. 1 doubles, Charlie Fischer and Lincoln Fischer, normally the No. 1 singles and No. 2 singles players, respectively, teamed up to defeat Grayson Taylor and Mason Frische, 6-1, 6-1.
Indian Creek’s only win came at No. 2 doubles where A.J. Emenhiser and Aaron Hickson bested Jackson Kuhn and Owen Hartman.
Triton Central 3, Mt. Vernon 2
The Tigers got a three-set victory at No. 2 doubles to pull out the win over the Marauders.
Colton Ayres and Owen Rice defeated Gavin Hofer and Xavier Stewart, 1-6, 6-2, 7-5.
At No. 1 singles, Triton Central’s Brayden Hoover topped Ty Ralstin, 6-2, 6-2.
Bradyn Robinson defeated Mt. Vernon’s Bryce Wilson, 7-6 (2), 6-1 at No. 2 singles.
Mt. Vernon won at No. 3 singles and No. 1 doubles in straight sets.
Volleyball
Franklin def. Shelbyville, 25-16, 25-17, 25-16
At Shelbyville, the Golden Bears’ 10-match win streak was snapped by Franklin (13-4).
Liv Judge and Maddison Judge combined for 27 kills to lead Franklin. Ava Jones finished with 17 assists and 15 digs.
Taylor Abell led Shelbyville (15-6) with six kills. Maggie Kolkmeier and Lyla Wilson each had five kills.
Hayden Ricketts finished with a team-high 18 digs. Addy Marshall had 13 digs and 20 assists.
North Decatur def. Morristown, 25-15, 25-23, 25-14
At North Decatur, Miley Scudder had 23 kills, three service aces and nine digs to lead the Chargers to the Mid-Hoosier Conference victory.
Eliza Kennelly and Lanee Rennekamp each had 15 digs to lead North Decatur (12-6, 3-0 MHC).
Morristown dropped to 14-6 (4-3 MHC).
