Shelbyville boys soccer closed out its regular season schedule with a 7-1 win Thursday at Indian Creek.
Joao Rivera scored four goals and Aden Phares delivered the other three to improve the Golden Bears to 6-9-1 (4-3 Hoosier Legends Conference).
Rivera pushed his season goal scoring total to 17.
Indian Creek dropped to 3-11 (1-6 HLC).
Shelbyville won the junior varsity match, 4-2. James Mendoza (2), Kyle Gooding and Gael Lua scored for the Golden Bears.

Greensburg Invitational
Waldron was one of 18 teams that made the trip to Greensburg for the invitational.
The Mohawks had just three runners in the boys race. Jacob Kuhn finished 16th in 18 minutes, 20 seconds. He was followed by Spencer Armstrong (71st in 20:33) and Parker Allen (157th in 34:09).
Sophia Meriwether represented Waldron in the girls race. She finished 37th in 25:50.
Boys soccer
Greenwood 6, Triton Central 0
At Greenwood, the visiting Tigers trailed 1-0 at halftime then surrendered five second-half goals to suffer the HLC loss.
Triton Central closed its regular season schedule with a 2-12-2 (2-5 HLC).
Greenwood improved to 8-5-3 (6-1 HLC).
Volleyball
North Decatur def. Waldron, 25-10, 25-15, 25-15
At North Decatur, Miley Scudder collected 18 kills and 12 digs to lead the Chargers to the Mid-Hoosier Conference win.
Sarah Moeller finished with nine kills for North Decatur (16-8, 5-0 MHC).
The Mohawks dropped to 12-15 (3-4 MHC).
