Morristown High School's volleyball program finished 2-2 in its season-opening Morristown Classic Saturday.
The Yellow Jackets scored wins over Southwestern and Edinburgh but lost to Rising Sun and Northeastern.
In a 14-25, 25-12, 15-11 win over Southwestern, Brooklyn Carlton and Avery Everhart each had four kills for Morristown. Carlton and Kindall Dorsey each had three service aces. Dorsey added a team-high 17 digs.
The Yellow Jackets defeated Edinburgh, 25-20, 25-13. Carlton had a team-high eight kills. Katie Theobald notched 11 assists.
Rising Sun defeated Morristown, 25-24, 25-13. Carlton, Zoey Coons and Abby Hawk combined for seven kills.
In a 25-21, 25-12 loss to Northeastern, Carlton and Everhart each had five kills.
Morristown hosts Hagerstown Thursday.

Whiteland 8, Triton Central 0
At Whiteland, Ava Fagan and Kinley Waalkens each scored goals in the first ten minutes of action to jump start the Warriors to a season-opening victory over the Tigers (0-1).
Madison Fleury and Bethany Floyd added goals in the final ten minutes of the first half to build a 4-0 lead by halftime.
Cheyenne Allen had 15 saves in goal for Triton Central, who hosts Knightstown today at 5 p.m. in Fairland.
Volleyball
Batesville def. Shelbyville, 25-12, 25-14, 25-8
At Garrett Gymnasium in Shelbyville, Reesa Zimmerman had team highs in kills (14) and digs (11) to lead the visiting Bulldogs to a season-opening win over the Golden Bears (0-1).
Alivia Lee led Shelbyville with three kills. Sydney Haehl produced a team-high 15 digs and Addison Hartman had five assists.
Shelbyville hosts Southwestern Tuesday.
Greenfield-Central def. Waldron, 25-10, 25-10, 25-9
At Greenfield-Central, Alex Muegge and Rilee Roland combined for 15 kills to propel the Cougars to the victory over the Mohawks (0-1).
Muegge had a match-high eight kills and had five service aces. Roland also had five aces and a team-high five digs.
Waldron is at Indian Creek today at 5:30 p.m.
