Waldron tennis coach Ryan Berkemeier shared a Center Grove tennis story after his Mohawks won their second consecutive sectional title.
The No. 3 ranked Trojans played two varsity matches simultaneously this season and won both matches handily with two separate rosters.
Berkemeier labeled Center Grove as having a state championship caliber roster this season and it showed Wednesday in the regional championship match.

Center Grove defeated Waldron, 5-0, to advance to the semistate round Saturday to face Seymour in a semifinal match at noon.
At No. 1 singles, Yuvraj Dasari defeated Charlie Fischer, 6-0, 6-0 to close out his career with a program record 73 victories.
Lincoln Fischer was defeated at No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-1 by Alexander Kandris.
Hudson Pagels completed the singles sweep with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Noah Leap.
At No. 1 doubles, Jackson Kuhn and Caige Sheaffer battled Maneev Kamath and Austin Crow but fell, 7-5, 6-1.
Jonathan CraCraft and Jameson Mohr defeated Wyatt Armstrong and Owen Hartman at No. 2 doubles, 6-2, 6-1.
Waldron finished its season at 16-4.

Rylee Pruitt’s first-half goal off an assist from Dannahi Lopez was enough for Triton Central to secure a sectional semifinal win over the Saints (11-5).
Mallory Diehl was credited with two saves in the shutout victory.
Triton Central (9-8) will host Greenwood Christian (9-4-1) Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Class A, Sectional 42 championship game. The Cougars defeated Indianapolis Scecina, 1-0 in overtime, in the other semifinal match Wednesday in Fairland.
